The Phoenix drummers and dancers were lucky to have Ojeya and Martin stop over to do three wonderful days of classes, on their way home to Tucson. They introduced us to rhythms and dances from Rwanda and Mali.
After spending eight months in Africa, they were excited to share a small part of their learnings. These classes were great fun as well as challenging for all levels of drummers and dancers.

A big "thank you" goes to both Ojeya and Martin for their teaching and expertise as well as another "thanks" to Heidi and Tom at Domba Studio for providing the excellent drum and dance space for these events.
